I'm currently in a design phase for the Game Editor.

Part of this designing is to contemplate what functionality is required, while considering the options that I want to make available. For instance, a feature that I think will be very important is that if one person makes a scenario, they will want to share it with their friends. The file naming system has to be able to protect each person not creating a file name that will over-write someone else's saved files.

Also, this game is going to be operating on two map systems (currently). One is the World Map that the player can move from region to region. The other map relates to a specific scenario within the region that the player traveled to.

To be able to have the scenarios safe to transfer to friends, the scenarios have to be independent of the World Map. The World Map on the individual player's system should not worry about where the scenarios are at, but must be able to 'show' in some format that there's something there to play.

To help me think about all of this, I decided to do a little tinkering with some graphics from AD&D Core Rules. I brought in the 'Wizard'...
